In addition to our regular volunteer opportunities, FriendshipWorks has a number of opportunities for individuals with special skills who would like to offer administrative assistance and support to our programs.
Volunteer Leadership Council
The volunteer leadership committee is a group of experienced FriendshipWorks volunteers who provide guidance for our services and assistance and mentoring to newer volunteers.
The goals of the Volunteer Leadership Council are:
- Develop innovative ways to promote stronger ties between the volunteers and the agency
- Help with planning and implementation volunteer “Thank You” events
- Assist with educational workshops
- Help make support calls, emails, or assist with mailings to volunteers
- Conduct volunteer exit interviews for all programs
- Recruitment of new Volunteer Leadership Council members
